I just celebrated my 20th birthday today, although my birthday is on tuesday. The celebration really rawked man. I had this really wonderful lunch at Lao Beijing with my family and BD. The food was yummy, with Peking Duck, ribs etc. My mom also prepared this really unique dessert which consisted of black glutinous rice, ginko nut, melon, ice cream and nata de coco. Yummy...never tasted anything like that before. Trust me, the dessert tasted heavenly. Mom really loves me so she planned all these for me. Thanks so much mom *hugs* I am my dad's PRINCESS :p Heehee he calls me that. Princess.. :) The highlight of the day was the black forest cake from Hyatt. Hey that cake is not the cheap ones that you get from normal bakeries ok. The price of this cake = 2 of those cakes u get from the normal bakeries. :) Hi-class one. The cake is really unique, with cherries soaked in liquer.. :) :)
When I opened my email inbox I had a pleasant surprise. Someone sent me this really sweet ecard. I did not expect it as I had received a gift from that person. I received 3 roses (= I love u), a gift which I have not opened. The gift was rather beautifully wrapped. Wonder what it is? It looks like something really exquisite. But I think I shall wait till next week to open the gift. Cant wait to open it and see what it is inside. I think the person must have put in a lot of effort in planning the whole thing. Really good considering that we all are so bogged down by tests, assignments and projects. Plus with mid terms, I really wonder when the person got the time to do it. Hahaa. Curious, must ask that person how to manage time lor. My time mgmt skills need to be polished on! BD got me a nice blue watch. Thanks dear
