Am feeling a little shagged now. Went to BD's house today and we had lunch with BD's parents. Really an enjoyable lunch. We all ordered our desserts and we were sharing with one another, I give you some of mine and you give me some of yours. BD's mom gave me some of her pear dessert and BD's dad gave me some of his cherry dessert. But what a bummer I was,gave some only to his mom,but forgot about his dad. =/. Then when BD went to his grandma's house to collect some vinegar and his dad went to buy 4D, his mom and I were waiting in the car and we were talking. :) And yes,today I learnt how to pump car tire. BD's mom's car tyre was really flat. So had to wait for a while before it was fully pumped.
BD went to Bras Basah to buy Harrison's book on Internal Medicine.Really heavy,can use to kill someone if he wants to rob you. Haha..then I was telling BD that you can use an Iridium phone set to kill someone,cos the phone is as large as a brick. And just if you did not know, Iridium in this case is not the element. If you aint sure, it essentially is a f**ked up project undertaken by Iridium to launch a satellite phone service. The conceptualisation to commercialisation took a good 11 years and by then, they totally missed out on cellular technology and their technology by the time they commercialised it,was way way obsolete.It was a technological feat, but an economic failure. I believe that is one of the classic MBA case studies. Haha. Pretty interesting to read on the theories on why Iridium failed.
