Ok today was a very very slack day. Did a little research on the Dragon Boat Festival and the Hungry Ghost Festival. Easy job. Afterall we have done such things in secondary/primary school havent we?
Well my superior left at around 3, so that means I can leave early w/o telling anyone. Good right?
Well cos I finished work early, I was surfing the net and yes I decided if I could find some reviews on Huan Zhu Ge Ge 3. Unfortunately I didnt manage to find much. Except that Xiao Yan Zi suffered a miscarriage and was unable to conceive for quite a number of years. The DOwager wanted the 5th Prince to marry another woman to bear him a child as he stood a good chance of becoming the Emperor. Man another sequel to what I find draggy. But what I find nice abt HZGG I and II is the heartwarming theme and the nice costumes donned by Vicki Zhao and Ruby Lin. If I could don one of those costumes.
Oh and a couple of weeks back I discovered that the story of Xiang Fei was not totally rubbish for she really existed. So did Ji Xiao Lan, Yong Qi, Yong Yan(the little prince borne by Concubine Ling),COncubine Ling and so on. Apparently COncubine Ling was a Han, so that made Yong Yan half Manchu, half Han. Well, and I guess u all know that Qian Long reigned for a good 60years and it wasnt 5th Prince who ascended the throne for he died young. It was Yong Yan who ascended the throne and by the time he did, he was already 35
