I had a rolling good time yesterday. Met up with BD at City Hall before walking to Bras Basah Complex as BD needed to buy the medical text books needed for year 2. So we had egg hor fun at Bras Basah Complex before walking to the book store. When I was there I saw that doctors' coats were on display[ the samples actually] so I took one and I put it on. Man I think I must have looked darn good. Cos I had on this real professional looking white blouse on, with a skirt that covered my shin,and white high-heeled shoes. BD said that I looked quite nice and I said, pointing to my head, "My up here is not that good, so I am not fit to put on this coat" and all BD said was " Nah that's not true" Seriously, I think I look darn freaking good in that coat. Shuai4 qi4 shi2 zu3. Would look more like a doc with a stethoscope round my neck I bet!
After getting the books we made our way to Suntec cos we wanted to catch Troy. Man I think it was hell of a good movie. But I guess it would have been better if more of the historical aspect of it were emphasized. However, I still dont quite understand how Achilles could be attracted to Bresis[??]. And to think that she was supposed to be a virgin, devoted to Apollo. Well she still let herself be conquered in bed by Achilles.Well yes, the war was triggered because of a woman. And how many wars in history have been started because of a mere woman? Rather senseless.And perhaps that's why people say that women are nothing but trouble.
Well we had a nice time at Coffee Bean discussing electromagnetic levitation, the technology used in Japan's shinkansen[bullet train]. Well I thought that the fastest train was in Germany. But hell I am wrong. It is in France. However that line was built jointly by the Germans and the French.Ok so it means that I wasnt too far off by thinking that the fastest train is in Germany then. At least I was smart enough not to think that it is in Japan or USA. Duh~~~~The raspberry cheesecake at coffeebean was darn nice. But when I got home I could hardly eat. All I ate was my bro's leftovers. =D Man I am so happy for him.. He got A1 for science. ANd I helped to teach him ok. So i am v happy for him. But a bit worried abt his math. HE isnt terribly strong at it and it sure doesnt help if u have a teacher who cant teach.Perhaps they shld pay me to replace tt dumb math teacher of his. Bet the students will be better off man!!
