Hey there. Haven't been here for two days.Heehee I am at home instead of school because of my knee. Was advised not to walk about too much lest I aggravate the injury. It should heal nicely in a few days time I hope.
Exams are catching up on me already. Studied two topics of econs yesterday. The starting is a little slow but I guess I will be alright. I am expecting the momentum to pick up in a few days' time. Well as you all know, there is this thing called INERTIA. A body will always remain in its state of restlessness unless a force acts on it, causing it to move.Doesnt that sound astoundingly familiar? Well yes, this is Newton's First Law of Motion, a rather generalized and simplified version of it I believe. I expect that there'd be a lot more complicated stuff in the paper that he wrote!
As I am preparing for my exams, I too am planning of how to while away my time during my 4 month summer vacation. Intending to clear up my remaining 60hrs of community service. Wrote to the ACM last year and the person said that she'd give me more details, but up till now I havent heard from them so I shot them another email, requesting them to send me the details. Sigh I really think that community service is a MEGA WASTE OF TIME!I dont really see the point of doing community service. Havent I done enough of it in secondary school and in JC?I am really apathetic towards it. I'd just finish up my sixty hours and then I'd never ever have anything to do with community service for as long as I live. Or at least, a good proportion of my remaining life on earth.
Life is so fragile.You never know when you'd kick the bucket.Sounds morbid, but it is something unavoidable. Everyone has to go through the painful and vicious cycle of birth, old age, disease and death. Well I wont go into the technicalities of it because I too, am unable to comprhend the complexities of it. Perhaps someone intereseted and well-read in Buddhism can comment on this.
