Had a first hand experience with jealousy last night. Human jealousy, to me, is one of the most painful and powerful human emotions. And it can be dangerous too. There have been so many cases of murder in which jealousy was the main cause. I suspect that men get jealousy as a result of sexual competition. When they perceive that they are being made a cuckold of, they behave like porcupines with all their spines hard and stiff. Just one bump into them could cause immense pain. Argh.
